Bounty Bay Online's Third Anniversary Celebrations!On the 22nd of February 2007, exactly three years ago, the sail was hoisted for Bounty Bay Online and the game was available in Standard and Collector's Editions to budding buccaneers (in Germany), some of whom even sacrificed some of their loot for the special collector's edition.
A lot has happened since then. We haven't just open further servers in the free-to-play model, but also English and French language versions and dedicated servers.
We also added many diverse expansions, all of which were free of course. 'Storm Island' was the first, followed by the 'Colony' add-on and most recently, 'Beyond the Horizon'.
Three years is a long time but Bounty Bay is far from nearing an end since the next large content update is already on the horizon.
We are also ecstatic that Bounty Bay has such a loyal crew of fans which is continually growing. This year we've already seen a record amount of player numbers.
Only a few MMO titles manage to keep growing over the years rather than slowing shrinking and BBO is one of these positive exceptions.
Since we're so proud of you and BBO, we're making the three year anniversary of BBO a real occasion and rewarding you with the Bounty Bay Online - Celebrations. They begin on 22/02/2010 and run until 31/03/2010 and are full of offers, rewards and competitions.
